About SISE

The Society for Industrial and Systems Engineering (SISE), established in 2012, is a Non-Profit Organization under 503(c)(3). SISE sponsors an annual conference (World Conference of the Society for Industrial and Systems Engineering) and publishes Industrial and Systems Engineering Review (ISER) - an online journal. The goal for ISER is to publish one issue every quarter. The Aim and Scope/Topics of ISER are described below.

AIM

Industrial and Systems Engineering Review (ISER) is an online journal aimed at the advancement of industrial and systems engineering theory and practice as applied to any enterprise system. We seek to publish review articles, regular research papers containing new theoretical foundations, case studies, as well as manuscripts describing novel applications of existing techniques to new problem domains. Presently, all users have open access to all the journal articles.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Extended abstracts

• Literature Review

Individuals interested in presenting their research/case study must submit an abstract of no more than 300-words in English before May 15, 2024. by using our online web portal  All abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Advisory Committee and authors will be notified via email before May 31, 2024. Publication

The conference will feature publishing peer-reviewed conference articles/papers. All submitted full papers/articles will be peer-reviewed by the society's technical committee before publication in the conference proceedings. The conference program with brief abstract for each article will be available before the conference. Proceedings will be published and available for download for all after the conference is completed. Only full papers, abstracts or extended abstracts that are presented during their allocated schedule will be included in the proceedings. Revised and expanded versions of selected papers registered and presented at the conference will be considered for publication in future issues of Industrial and Systems Engineering Review (ISER) - the society's journal.

Venue

The Society for Industrial and Systems Engineering will be holding its Thirteenth Annual World Conference on August 5-6, 2024. The conference will be held at the Staybridge Suites DENVER DOWNTOWN in Denver, Colorado. This year's conference will also be held in collaboration with the International Society for Occupational Ergonomics and Safety (http://isoes.info). Attendees for the conference can benefit by attending the two conferences for the price of one. In addition to the traditional conference that will be hosted at the Denver location, authors will also be permitted to present their work online. In continution with our previous year model of a virtual conference, there will be sessions that will support remote or online presentation by presenters who will not be able to travel to Denver.
