Asian Junior Linguists Conference (AJL) is committed to encouraging junior linguists to have opportunities to present their work at a formal academic conference. Junior linguists mainly include undergraduate students studying linguistics, but Master's and pre-ABD level submissions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Submission Guidelines
All presenters must submit the two documents below:
- Abstracts
- All abstracts must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
- The following categories are welcome: a linguistic analysis in phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and/or sociolinguistics
- No more than one page, including graphs, figures and references.
- Format: A4 size, Times New Roman 12 points, 1 inch margin on all sides.

Publication
AJL7 proceedings will be published as part of the ICU Working Papers in Linguistics (ICUWPL) series and feature selected papers from the conference. Proceedings of previous conferences can be accessed using the following link:

The conference will be held hybrid at International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. Details TBA.
