The Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath and its Doctoral Training Centres (in Accountable, Responsible and Transparent AI, and Digital Entertainment) contain a large and growing community of postgraduate research students. They are of fundamental importance to the Department’s research activities, and their engagement is critical to its research culture. This is particularly challenging given the diversity of research in the department – from mathematical theory to the psychology of human computer interaction via visual computing and artificial intelligence.
The BCCS will be an opportunity for students to share their work with the whole Department, and to understand how it fits in to this broad research context.
Research students and staff will come together in this in-person event, the first after the COVID-19 pandemic, to share their research and strengthen the research culture of the Department.
Submission Guidelines

- Full papers describing a student's current research topics of interest, or any previously done research that they are proud of and/or want to present it to the attendees. Length of the paper can vary as long as the narrative makes sense and follows a complete structure.
