CALL FOR PAPERS
We are pleased to share that Durgapur Local Centre is organising All India Seminar on ‘Cost-Effective and Emerging Effluent Treatment Technologies’ during 7th-8th October, 2023 in association with Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Effluent treatment is an essential aspect of industrial operations that ensures the safe disposal of wastewater. With the increasing demand for water resources and the need to protect the environment, the development of cost-effective and emerging effluent treatment technologies has become more critical than ever
The impact of industrial and agricultural activities on our water bodies has been well documented, and it is imperative that we find solutions to mitigate this damage. In recent years, many new and innovative technologies have emerged that offer promising results in the treatment of effluent.
The aim of this conference is to bring together experts in the field of effluent treatment, to share their knowledge and experience, and to explore new and emerging technologies that can offer cost-effective solutions to the challenges we face. Through this exchange of ideas, we hope to find practical and sustainable ways to address the problem of effluent and to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss cost-effective and emerging technologies for treating effluent and the challenges associated with them.
The conference will cover a range of topics, including, but not limited to:
- The latest advances in effluent treatment technology
- The challenges of implementing cost-effective effluent treatment technologies
- The environmental and social impact of effluent treatment technologies
- The role of government policies in promoting the adoption of effluent treatment technologies
- Case studies of successful effluent treatment projects
The conference will provide an opportunity for participants to engage with experts in the field, learn about the latest research, and network with others interested in effluent treatment. Attendees will include researchers, engineers, environmental consultants, government officials, and industry professionals.
