Submission deadline | August 15, 2022 |
IPM&C 2022 provides a great opportunity to create community and to set up effective scientific collaboration in Information Science. Thus, the objective of this workshop is to bridge the Information Science community with causal inference communities and to showcase how future information scientists establish their research in a causal inference way instead of purely at a correlation level. These help build up potential interactions and scientific collaborations between information scientists and, for instance, psychologists, computer scientists, mathematicians, sociologists, and statisticians. In particular, it is an opportunity to bring together highly technical individuals who are strongly motivated by the practicality and real-world impact of their work. Cultivating such interactions will lead to the development of theory, methodology, and - most importantly - practical tools that better target causal questions across different domains.
Submission Guidelines
Authors will prepare the submission following the Guide for Authors on IP&M journal at (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/information-processing-and-management/policies/guidelines-for-specialissues). All papers will be peer-reviewed following the IP&MC2022 reviewing procedures. The submission should be 6,000-10,000 words (including references, but not the title page, abstract, and keywords). The authors of accepted papers will be obligated to participate in IP&MC2022 and present the paper to the community to receive feedback.
