CIST 2025 welcomes original research in all areas of Information Systems and related fields, especially those that seek to address issues related to the conference theme: "Amplified Intelligence: Economic, Work and Societal Implications".
The development and deployment of intelligent technologies has grown at breakneck pace, with the aim of enhancing human cognition, creativity and problem-solving. The implications of these and related technologies are multifaceted and are being felt across various spheres of life. CIST 2025 seeks to facilitate discourse on the implications of intelligent technologies and human intellect for the economy as a whole, people's work and their personal and social lives. Economic growth and job growth, automation and augmentation of white collar and blue collar work, learning and skill development, and social interaction all represent domains in which the implications of technology-enhanced human intellect are ripe for deep exploration and sensemaking.
We invite diverse theoretical perspectives and rigorous empirical approaches to explore topics such as the cognitive and social impacts of amplified intelligence, novel architectures for human-AI collaboration, ethical considerations in augmenting human intellect, and the transformative potential of these technologies across various domains. Your submissions will contribute to a vibrant exchange of ideas on the development of novel human-computer collaboration paradigms. We aim for a broad set of the Information Systems community to be represented in CIST 2025.

Submission Instructions
Submissions will be accepted online via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cist2025).
Only papers that follow the specific guidelines below will be considered for acceptance:

Submissions must be blind, i.e., author names, contact, and affiliation information should NOT appear anywhere in the paper.

Papers are limited to a maximum of 15 pages of body text with at most 5 additional pages for abstract, references, tables, and figures. Papers that exceed the page limit will be desk rejected.

Papers must be printable on 8.5 x 11-inch paper.

Papers must use 12-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins on all four sides.

Papers must be double-spaced.

Student papers must indicate on the first page whether the bulk of the work was done by a student to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award.

Papers submitted to EasyChair must be in PDF format and no larger than 50 MB.

Submission Restrictions

To promote diversity, we strongly recommend that no individual appears as an author on more than three papers submitted to CIST 2025.

We recommend that no individual serves as the presenting author for more than two papers submitted to CIST 2025.

If your paper has already been accepted for publication, or conditionally accepted, please do not submit it to CIST 2025.

In the spirit of promoting original work, we ask that authors submit new work, and discourage work that has recently been presented at major IS conferences and workshops.
