- climate simulations of meteorology and air quality,
- assessing clean transport vulnerabilities,
- and preparing road infrastructure to mitigate risks for Clean Energy Connected Vehicles (CECVs).
- Thrust 2. Solutions for Sustainable Transport & Mobility Systems: As cities transition toward low-carbon mobility, optimizing transport systems for efficiency, equity, and sustainability is more critical than ever. This theme invites research on:
- travel demand management,
- fleet electrification,
- user-behavior modeling,
- and data-driven solutions for reducing transport emissions.
- Thrust 3. Present and Future Energy Transitions & Policy for Transportation Sector: The integration of sustainable energy systems with transportation is key to achieving decarbonization goals. This theme explores:
- policy frameworks,
- emerging energy technologies such as hydrogen and electrification,
- and strategies to create circular economies that support the clean energy transition
- Thrust 4. Data Science for Sustainable Transport and Energy: Enhancing Decision-Making Tools and Future Directions: Data-driven decision support tools are essential for optimizing transport infrastructure, reducing emissions, and informing policy. This theme seeks research on:
