ABSTRACT POSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
We are now accepting research abstracts for consideration for poster presentations. All poster presentations will take place during the conference date from 0900 till the end. We are looking for timely, thought-provoking projects that aim to advance clinical simulation and are relevant to the following audiences, but not limited to, paramedics, nurses, doctors, educators, simulation administrators, technicians, simulator hardware engineers, simulation software developers, etc.
All abstracts will be considered, even if they have been previously presented at other meetings.
Investigator/Author Guidelines:
- Only electronic submissions will be accepted. All abstracts should be submitted online.
- The deadline for submission of abstracts is 17 Oct 2025 23:59 pm Hong Kong Time.
- Abstract grading is blinded, and abstracts are selected based on scientific merit. Please do not have any author details or use xxx to replace the institution name in the content of the research abstract for judging purposes.
- All presenters eligible for the Excellence in Research Award are required to be registered for the conference and present their poster.
- Notification letters of acceptance will be sent out by Thursday, 20 Nov 2025. Abstracts that do not comply with the style and relevant content will be rejected. Notification will be given via email only.
- The final posters will be published electronically on the conference website.
- All research presenters will be required to have a conflict of interest/finance disclosure.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- 400-word count limit.
- Use structured headings as outlined in the provided sample.
- Do not include any discussion of limitations in the abstract.
- Do not mention your institution or hospital anywhere in the abstract.
- Use universal metrics and English for the abstract, presentation and poster.
- Use a leading zero for all decimal figures (e.g., 0.3).
- Include a space between a value and its units (e.g., 120 mmHg rather than 120mmHg).
- Abstracts that do not adhere to these guidelines will be disqualified.
Judges will present an Excellence in Research Award to the investigator/author of the winning abstract, as outlined in the marking rubric in this document.

Presentation:
The poster presentation will be arranged at the 3/F or 5/F lift lobby area together with the coffee break area
printing of posters will be self-arranged by the authors at their own cost. (size 841mm x 1189mm).
