ICEER 2024 is a joint organization of the School of Engineering (ISEP) of the Polytechnic of Porto (P.Porto) and the SCIEI, and will be held at Coimbra, Portugal during July 24-26, 2024.

Energy and environment are research and education areas of critical importance in today’s world. The ongoing climate crisis and the pressing need for sustainable development strategies require transformative engineering solutions and innovations in broad areas ranging from energy sciences to geoengineering.

The aim of ICEER 2024 is to serve as a forum for engineers, researchers and specialists from academia, research centers, and industry worldwide to discuss and present the latest developments and applications related to the challenges of energy and environment research. ICEER main areas of interest include but not limited to Energy, Environment and Education for Sustainable Development.

Submission Guidelines

Full Paper (Presentation and Publication):

Accepted full paper will be invited to give the Oral / Poster / Oral Flash presentation at the conference and be published in the conference proceedings.

• Papers submitted via the Electronic Submission System will be peer reviewed by at least two reviewers.

• Upon reviewers comments and acceptance, please revise your paper accordingly and using the template that will be provided until June 20th. You may then proceed with the upload of camera ready version.

• The authors of the paper will take responsibility for any Intellectual Property issues concerning the papers on their own. The organizing Committee reserves the right to use the papers for conference purposes.

• No show, no publication

Abstract (Poster Presentation only):

Authors are required to submit 2 page Extended Abstract (Abstract Template)for reviewing if they only want Poster Presentation and no full paper publication. Only the abstract will be published in the Conference Abstract Book.

Publication

Reviewed and registered papers after the appropriate presentation will be published in Environmental Science and Engineering as a proceedings book volume, which will be indexed by EI Compendex, SCOPUS, SCImago, Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, etc. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published.
