ICETSAM 2026 — the International Conference on Energy, Thermal Science and Advanced Materials — is an international research conference organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, India, scheduled for 8–10 October 2026. The conference theme, "Innovating Energy, Enhancing Efficiency, Shaping the Future," reflects a commitment to advancing innovations in energy systems to meet future global demands, emerging thermal technologies for improved efficiency and performance, and developing smart materials to support sustainability and next-generation applications.

The conference runs across two parallel technical tracks — Track 1: Thermal / Energy and Track 2: Materials Science — featuring plenary and keynote speakers from across the globe over three days. Industry partners include ISRO (Bangalore), Autodesk, and Avasarala Technologies (Bangalore). ICETSAM 2026 is designed to foster global collaboration between researchers, academics, and industry professionals working at the frontier of energy and materials engineering.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Full papers describing original, unpublished research contributions aligned with the conference theme and scope. All full papers will undergo double-blind peer review by a minimum of two independent reviewers. Manuscripts must be prepared using the official ICETSAM 2026 conference template (available on the conference website). Plagiarism must be below 10%; any AI-generated content must be declared in accordance with the conference's publication policy. Accepted full papers with an overall acceptance ratio of 25% (4:1 review system) will be published in the conference proceedings. Registration fees apply separately by category (Student / Research Scholar / Faculty / Industry).

Abstracts for presentation at the conference without full paper submission are also accepted. Abstract-only submissions are eligible for oral or poster presentation and are subject to relevance review. Authors of accepted abstracts must register under the "Abstract Presentation" category.

ICETSAM 2026 proceedings will be published following a rigorous peer-review process with a selective acceptance ratio of 25% under a 4:1 review system (four reviewers per paper minimum before final acceptance decision). Each submission is evaluated on originality, technical quality, relevance to conference themes, and clarity of presentation.
