The 7th International Conference on Creative\Media/Technologies (IConCMT) will be held at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (UAS) from November 25th to 27th, 2025. The event offers a dynamic platform for interdisciplinary collaboration across the broad spectrum of media and digital technologies.
On November 27th, we will also celebrate 15 years of the Institute of Creative\Media/Technologies. We warmly invite you to join us as we reflect on our journey, present current research and projects, and look ahead to future developments in media, technology, and education. The event will also provide an opportunity for networking and exchange with our friends and partners. The conference language is English, but the official part of this particular event will be held in German.
With the goal of fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue, IConCMT brings together perspectives from creative design, emerging technologies, and economic, social, and cultural contexts. The conference deliberately emphasizes diversity in topics and encourages submissions that bridge research and practice across innovative and critical domains of digital media.
We invite submissions addressing the central themes of the conference. All contributions, whether short or full papers, will be considered for inclusion in the peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
Special Focus Areas for 2025:
- 15 Years of Digital Development: From long-term observations and historical reflections to current developments in digital culture.
- Exploring AI, XR, VR, and AR: Application-driven research in fields such as healthcare, industry, art, and media.
- Media Frames: Investigations into narrative strategies and communication practices in times of crisis, such as war, climate change, and threats to democracy.
- Innovations in Sonification and Interactive Audio: Research on transforming data into sound, designing interactive auditory experiences, feedback systems, and spatial audio technologies.
