The aim of the 2025 international ISSA conference is to bring together national and international researchers, academics, students and industry practitioners in the broader fields of Cyber security, Cyber security & AI, Information Security, Computer Security, Network Security and Digital Forensics. The conference is co-organised by the Department Computer Science of the University of Pretoria, Centre for High Performance Computing (CHPC), Data Intensive Research Initiative of South Africa (DIRISA) and South African National Research Network (SANReN). ISSA runs as a parallel stream at the well-established annual Centre for High Performance Computing Conference: (https://chpcconf.co.za/).
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be formatted strictly according to the conference template (https://www.springer.com/kr/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines). The papers can be a maximum of 10 pages (inclusive of references).
Any submissions that do not adhere to the Springer formatting and length requirements will be desk-rejected and not submitted for review.

Paper Review Process
All submissions will be double-blind reviewed by at least two subject expert reviewers. Papers are reviewed on the basis that they are written by the authors themselves (no GenAI tools), they do not contain plagiarised materials and have not been submitted elsewhere. Publication
Accepted and registered papers from the 2025 ISSA conference will be published as a post-conference proceedings by Springer CCIS (pending). CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus.

The conference will be held at the Century City Conference Centre (CCCC), Cape Town, South Africa
