OpenTalks.AI is an international independent Open conference on Artificial intelligence.
Started in 2018 from 600 participants, now it is well known conference on AI/ML in Western Europe, gathering 1000+ participants with a community of 5,000+ professionals. OpenTalks.AI is a conference with top level speakers and talks, precise moderation, great networking and a cool afterparty with live music!
2 days, 100+ speakers, 3 tracks: business, research & development, academic
We gather business, academic and R&D talks in one conference, covering every topic in the area. All talks, including business, are selected through Call For Proposals. Selected speakers do not pay any fees and enjoy a lot of privileges.
OpenTalks.AI is structured in 4 blocks: LLM, CV, RL, GenAI. Each block has several sessions and a main stage talk with overview of 2024's most important works, given by leading specialists in the field.
OpenTalks.AI through the years is supported by leading companies: NVIDIA, Huawei, Samsung, IBM, Yandex, WorldQuant, Snapchat, Kaspersky, MTS, Third Opinion and others.
First call for proposals is open till 20.10.2025 23:59 AoE.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original, high quality works which were not published yet (except Option 6).
Authors can apply for business talk or R&D talk or academic talk or poster. Selected speakers do not pay conference fees and speaker's company also do not pay any fees. More details on speaker privileges here.
The reviewing process of the OpenTalks.AI conference aims to provide authors with constructive feedback on their submissions, even when a submission is rejected. All submissions will be subjected to double-blind peer reviews, who are expert or have been experiencing in the related field for years. The accepted submissions must be revised, taking into consideration the referees' comments and suggestions, before inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Option 1. Business talk - case
You can give a talk with a story - how did you apply AI/ML for solving a business task and what was the results. For this kind of talk you can submit only slides, covering main ideas of case. Focus of the talk - on the business value and economic outcome. Slides should avoid direct advertising and can contain:
- description of the area
- problem to solve (task to perform)
- how to measure the result
- chosen AI/ML technology
- implementation specifics
- problems encountered
- obtained results
- comparison with other solutions
- assessment of economic efficiency
All submitted slides will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be included in the business section with talk time up to 10 min. You will have an option to update slides before the talk.
Option 2. Business talk - overview
You can give a talk with an overview of how AI/ML is used in business, focusing on specific area (e.g. using AI/ML in microelectronics) or on specific technology (e.g. using Generative AI in different business). For business overview talk you can submit slides, covering main ideas. Please, specify "overview" as first keyword in the submission. Slides should avoid direct advertising and can contain:
- description of the business area
- most commos problems to solve
- how AI/ML technologies are used
- problems encountered
- obtained results
- assessment of economic efficiency
All submitted slides will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be included in the business section or on the main stage. Talk time up to 20 min. You will have an option to update slides before the talk.
Option 3. R&D talk
You can give a talk with a story - how did you develop AI/ML techology or product and what was the results. Focus of the talk - the technology and results, compared to other technologies. For R&D talk you can submit either paper or slides, covering main ideas. Slides should avoid direct advertising and can contain:
- description of the area
- problem to solve (task to perform)
- how to measure the result
- what technology was developed and how, give technical details
- problems encountered
- obtained results
- comparison with other solutions
All submitted papers/slides will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be included in the R&D section with talk time up to 15 min. You will have an option to update slides before the talk.
Option 4. Academic paper
You can give a talk about your original research in AI/ML. You can submit either paper or slides, covering main ideas.
All submitted papers/slides will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be included in the academic track section with talk time up to 15 min or in the poster session. You will have an option to update paper/slides before the conference.
Option 5. Academic overview
You can give a talk with an overview of AI research area (e.g. recent advances in AI agents). For overview talk you can submit either paper or slides, covering main ideas. Please, specify "overview" as a first keyword in the submission.
All submitted papers/slides will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted one will be included in the academic section or on the main stage. Talk time up to 30 min. You will have an option to update paper/slides before the conference.
Option 6. A* paper from 2024
Special feature of OpenTalks.AI: we accept research papers, published at A* conferences in 2024 (AAAI, ACL, COLT, CVPR, EMNLP, ECCV, ICCV, IJCAI, ICML, ICLR, ICRA, KDD, NeurIPS, SIGIR) to poster session without additional peer-review.
The idea of this submissions is to allow OpenTalks.AI participants, who could not join A* conference (e.g. because of visa issues), to have an option to communicate with leading researchers.
We also accept those papers, that received "mass reject" in the end of 2024 (paper received all positive reviews, but then was rejected without explanations). We would like to express respect to those authors, understanding, of course, the huge difference between conferences level.
To apply this kind of submission, you should be one of the authors of this paper, willing to participate offline. Please, specify "A*" as first keyword in the submission. You will receive all the speaker privileges.
