RELIEVE 2022: Energy and Sustainable Mobility
RELIEVE 2022 is the main event that the Latin American Network for Research in Energy and Vehicles (RELIEVE) carries out in 2022.
- Objective: Contribute to the generation and strengthening of capacities in Latin America to support and guide local governments and companies on issues of sustainable mobility.

In the framework of RELIEVE 2022 we will be held the:
III International Conference on Energy Efficiency RELIEVE 2022
In order to promote the research and technological development projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, especially in vehicles and transportation sector, we have given continuity to the traditional International Congress on Energy Efficiency organized by RELIEVE. This conference is intended for students, researchers, and companies. It look forward to disseminate and comunicate to the society the scientific, technological and social results. It includes:
- Oral presentations
- Permanent poster session.
- Competition for best technical presentation and best poster.
The best papers will be or will receive support to be published in the following journals where RELIEVE has collaboration agreements and/or conference where RELIEVE participates as co-organizer.

Submission Guidelines
Abstract/full papers must be submitted in digital format (PDF) through the paper submission page. Papers must be written in English or Spanish. Papers must use the IEEE conference format. The maximum length is six (6) pages per article including illustrations and references. Each paper should indicate appropriateness for the scope of the Conference, originality and quality of the technical content, whole organization and writing style.
For each accepted paper, at least one of the authors must register and present the paper at III International Congress on Energy Efficiency RELIEVE 2022
Posters should highlight research results from current projects related to the conference themes. Organizers invite projects that submit an abstract or full paper to the congress to present posters.

RELIEVE is the Latin American Research Network on Energy and Vehicles (RELIEVE), included since 2020 to the Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED). RELIEVE's objective is to contribute to the generation and strengthening of capacities in LATAM to provide technical support and follow up to local governments and companies in smart mobility issues. As a strategy to achieve this objective, RELIEVE seeks to strengthen the collaboration between universities, companies and government entities through the development of joint research projects, scientific dissemination and training of human talent in the field of smart mobility. RELIEVE understands Smart Mobility as the use of information technologies to reorganize the mobility of people and goods in a sustainable way (economically, socially, environmentally).

Universidad de Antioquia was founded in 1803 under the name of Colegio de la Villa de Medellín, with its first rector of the Franciscan order, Fray Rafael de la Serna. Later, under the presidency of General Francisco de Paula Santander, it received the name of Colegio de Antioquia, and finally in 1871, under the departmental governorship of the eminent Pedro Justo Berrío, it became the Universidad de Antioquia. It currently has about 50,000 students between undergraduate and graduate in 5 strategic areas: Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Economics and Administration, and finally Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering alone has about 10,000 students. The University has two large campuses, one in Medellín and the other in Carmen de Viboral (east campus), but it is present in Antioquia through 12 other campuses offering 18 professional careers.

Universidad EAFIT is a private Colombian university founded in 1960. Its main campus is located in the city of Medellín, in "El Poblado" neighborhood. It has other campuses in the cities of Bogotá, Pereira and Rionegro. It is an institution with High Quality accreditation for the third consecutive time, granted by the Colombian Ministry of National Education. The University has 5 schools, 25 undergraduate programs, 44 specializations, 42 master's degrees and 6 doctorates. It currently has 13,000 undergraduate and graduate students, more than a thousand professors and lecturers, 98% of whom have master's and doctoral degrees, and has more than 200 agreements abroad that allow its students to do double degrees, internships, take courses, do exchanges, participate in academic missions, do professional internships and international volunteer work, among many other benefits.

LOGYCA is a company dedicated to generating value through the promotion of international standards, collaborative technology platforms, adoption of best logistics practices and applied research for innovation. It is a pioneer in the generation of logistics knowledge in Latin America. Through an agreement with the Center for Transportation and Logistics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), it created the Latin American Center for Logistics Innovation (CLI), a research group that works on the knowledge of logistics in Latin America. It has developed projects with entities such as the IDB, World Bank, CAF, Mayor's Office of Bogota, among others, focused on sustainable mobility for last mile distribution, best practices in e-commerce, guidelines for strengthening public logistics policy, among others. Articulates "Collaborative Groups", cataloged as a meeting point between companies and public entities of the following sectors: retail, massive consumption, transportation, agriculture, health and digital channel, designed to promote synergies between the actors of the value network and allow the implementation of transversal solutions for the optimization of logistics processes.
