List of Topics
SMART MANAGEMENT IN TOURISM
Managing tourism intelligently arises from the need to find a balance and relationship between sustainability, technology, innovation and knowledge in order to achieve more sustainable and quality tourism. So that decision-making integrates tourists, residents, companies and destinations in management systems to solve the different challenges presented by current tourism.
Under this premise, the focus of this edition addresses in a special way the concept of intelligent mobility as a transversal and essential aspect to guarantee the optimal development of tourism models. Whether from the point of view of flow management in tourist areas, through efficiency in services, infrastructure and transport fleets, or the creation of products based on mobility as part of the experience.
Topics of interest:
- Smart tourist mobility as transversal management of the sector
- Tools to regulate tourism flows for tourism flows regulation

DIGITALIZATION IN ENTERPRISES AND TOURISM DESTINATIONS
The unstoppable and exponential technological progress we experience in contemporary societies generates both uncertainties and opportunities for the tourism sector. Volatility and fugacity are some features in our present time that must be analysed looking into the future too. This ever-changing context, characterized by drawbacks such as disruption, forces business to constantly re-design their practices and strive to understand the relationships between companies and destinations with their customers and visitors.
The new 5G connectivity brings improvements in relation to the digitization of all types of organizations in the tourism sector, transforming it in a disruptive way and driving the adoption of technologies more than we have experienced in recent decades. This will be possible thanks to the technological innovations provided by 5G, mainly: higher data upload and download speeds, greater connection capacity between devices (IoT), lower latency (time between request and response). This new scenario will allow, among other things, to promote video marketing, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and also to start configuring "immersive tourism", where the user himself is the protagonist of the tourist experience, amplifying his participation and improving their interaction with the product, service or tourist destination.
Topics of interest:

- "Internet of things" linked to tourism

- Digitization in restoration and gastronomy
- Communication and social media trends
