SUSTECH R3 is being organized by CENFIM, with the full support of PRODUTECH, CECIMO and AIMMAP, under the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda on its WP 17 - Professional Training and Development Program in Innovative Production Technologies, with the support of several other partners and international institutions and organizations.
These entities are promoting the organization of a Global Conference under the general theme of Sustainable Technologies, an event that will take place in Portugal, Porto in 1st and 2nd October 2026.
A platform was launched to manage the proposals for articles to be presented and the publication of the book of minutes (with ISBN) is already guaranteed. The organization intends to work towards the objective of ensuring that the best articles may be published in reference journals (Scopus and/or Web of Science). There is an opportunity also to have special editions of internationally recognized journals.
Articles proposals can be submitted in English or Portuguese on the following platform:
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sustechr3
If you have never used EasyChair, you will have to configure access via the “Create an account” option.
The mains topics are (1) Decarbonized & Sustainable Industry, (2) Circular Economy & Eco-Design, (3) Digital & Intelligent Sustainable Production and (4) Human-Centric & Resilient Value Chains.
Other subjects may be proposed to the email joseangelo.pinto@produtech.org
In a first phase (until the 28th of February 2026), an extended abstract of 1000 to 1500 words must be submitted, which must follow the following structure:
title, objective of the article, methodology, results, theoretical implications, practical implications, limitations, innovation.
3 to 5 keywords and a list of references must be included, which do not contribute to the word count. The extended abstracts will be reviewed blindly by the members of the scientific committee, so the authors must not be identified in the text. The extended abstract must be submitted in MS Word 2007 or later (.doc or .docx) without identifying the author(s), including MS Word signatures. References must follow the APA style.
After the review by the Scientific Committee, the author(s) will receive information about classification and improvement suggestions and may proceed to the full article and presentation or to the presentation of an abstract or poster, according to the scientific committee decisions.
Thanks in advance for your work,
José Ângelo Pinto
Organization Committee Director
