Call for Abstracts

The 9^th International Workshop and Symposium on Research and Applications on the Use of Passive Data from Public Transport (Transit Data).

Transit Data highlights the use of passive data sources from public transport: automated fare collection, vehicle location (GPS), passenger counting, and related systems. It brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss methods to analyse these data and to develop innovative applications to improve public transport services.

We are now calling for abstracts. Any delegates who would like to present their research/project should submit an abstract from the link below.

Format

An abstract should contain 250-500 words (500 words in maximum) and be submitted from one of the links above. The author names can be entered separately on the submission form. An abstract could include an introduction, a problem and objectives, methods, (already obtained or expected) results and discussions. Abstracts with different structures may also be accepted. There is no template, so please just use the text entry box of the submission system. If you wish, you can instead upload a Word or PDF file to the submission system.

Conference venue

The Conference will take place at University College London’s Institute of Child Health on Monday and Tuesday and at Transport for London’s Stratford Office on Wednesday.

They are situated in the heart of London with public good transport links between two venues, including Highspeed services, Commuter trains and London Underground.
