ABOUT THE BOOK
Big data analytics (BDA) is a key pillar of Industry 4.0. It has emerged as a viable instrument for bolstering organizations’ competitive advantages through improved data-driven performance. Meanwhile, the global shortage of resources has compelled businesses to prioritize sustainable-based performance. Furthermore, the evidence indicates that BDA and innovation can improve company performance, resulting in a competitive advantage. This book contends that big data analytics capabilities (BDAC), when accompanied by a high degree of Data Availability (DA), may boost innovation capabilities (IC) and, as a result, contribute to the formation of a Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA). Modern industrial systems and advanced technology have recently started creating larger amounts of data in real time from a number of sources, a process known as "big data." Businesses nowadays are increasingly relying on cutting-edge technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, and human–robot cooperation to create vast volumes of data. However, traditional software is incapable of handling such data properly. This is the role of big data analytics (BDA), which extracts value from data to improve a company's competitive advantage. Simply said, BDA is the use of various analytical methodologies to manage a wide range of large-scale and complicated data in order to extract useful findings that benefit a firm's performance. This piece of research book will discuss how, in order to achieve digital transformation towards “Change Competitive Business Dynamics through sustainable Big Data Analysis” and the creation of sustainable organizations, humans must first recognize that none of the actors in society can be viewed in isolation; rather, people must improve understanding of their interactions and interrelationships that lead to knowledge, innovation, and value creation.
