Workshop Goal
The purpose of the International workshop on green ubiquitous IT (GUIT'22) of the 17th International Conference on Future Networks and Communications (FNC-2022) is to bring together academic scientists, engineers, and researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of green and ambient computing. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, and industrials to present and discuss the advances and applications adopted in this realm. GUIT’22 covers a wide spectrum of research subjects, including green IT, green communication and networking, ambient intelligence and communication. The workshop include, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Green software engineering
- Green design and modelling
- Green datawarehouse and database
- Green Wireless Networks
- Green Internet of Things (GIoT)
- Intelligent signal processing for Green communications
- Green infrastructures and protocols
- Optimization of Energy-Efficient Protocols
- Green smart grid communications for HANs, NANs, FANs
- Green communication Model for 5G/6G Systems
- Green big data architecture
- Environmental Decision Support Systems
- Green Grid and cloud computing
- AI powered photovoltaic and eolian enery sources
- AI applications in monitoring energy consumption
- Sustainable energy for electrical vehicles and building
- AI powered smart cities and buildings
- Intelligent Transport Systems and control
- Smart healthcare and green hospitals
- IoT and Smart X services
Submission Guidelines
- The submitted paper must be formatted according to the guidelines of Procedia Computer Science, MS Word Template, Latex, Template Generic.
- You are invited to submit the PDF version of your full papers on EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=guit22, without exceeding 6 pages. Papers that do not follow the workshop guidelines may be rejected.
- The Program Committee members will evaluate all papers based on technical quality, originality and relevance to the topics listed above.
- At least one author of each paper must attend the workshop to present the paper.
- There will be an option for virtual participation, for anyone who cannot or chooses not to travel.
