We are pleased to remind you to secure your participation in IBERSENSOR 2026 – the 14th Ibero-American Congress on Sensors, the premier regional forum for scientists, engineers, researchers, and students working in the field of sensor science and technology.

From October 21–23, 2026, the Ibero-American sensing community will gather in Colombia for a unique multi-city experience connecting two of the Caribbean coast's most vibrant cities: Barranquilla (Universidad del Norte, October 21) and Cartagena de Indias (Universidad de los Andes – Caribbean Campus, October 22–23).

Continuing the tradition of biennial congresses initiated in 1998, IBERSENSOR 2026 will offer:

• Keynote presentations from internationally recognized leaders in sensing and instrumentation research.

• Technical and academic sessions spanning the full spectrum of sensor science: physical, chemical, and biosensors; micro- and nanosensors; IoT and wireless sensing systems; and more.

• Interdisciplinary discussions on Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) including nanotechnology, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and photonics — and their integration into next-generation sensing platforms.

• Applications-focused sessions on environment, agriculture, food industry, biomedicine, clinical analysis, health, and security.

• Networking and collaboration opportunities with researchers and professionals from across the Ibero-American region and beyond.

• Cultural and social experiences in Cartagena de Indias, a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering a unique blend of colonial history and Caribbean culture.
