International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE) is one of the signature programs of the IUCEE Foundation connecting experts and passionate educators globally for improving the potential for excellence in engineering education. It has emerged as a global platform for sharing best practices and collaborating with academic and industrial experts for both faculty and students. The research articles submitted to ICTIEE are continuously increasing every year in terms of quality and quantity.
The Tenth International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education, (ICTIEE-2023), hosted at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, Karnataka, features paper and poster presentation sessions, workshops, special lectures, panel discussions, conclaves and thus facilitates a global network for the cause of effective engineering education. ICTIEE 2023 is expected to have more than 2000 delegates and is welcoming passionate educators and students to be a part of this mega event.
Submission Guidelines
The IUCEE Foundation invites faculty and other professionals to submit original unpublished research and technical papers that demonstrate contemporary research in engineering education on the following Tracks. The selected papers after the double-blind review will make oral presentations at the conference. The outstanding papers from the selected papers will be sent to the Journal of Engineering Education (JEET) for publication.
Instructions for Authors:
- Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers of their original and unpublished research works in the tracks specified.
- The length of the paper shall be 4-8 pages with good clarity of the content (text, images, and equations).
- The authors are expected to follow the template as provided in <https://sciresol.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/srs-j/jeet/guidelines/jeet-template_rev.docx> in preparing the research papers.
- The paper submitted must be uploaded in PDF format
- All paper submissions are subject to a double-blind review process and hence any information identifying the authors or their institution should be anonymized while submitting the paper.
- Papers that do not conform to "double-blind submission" policies and are out of the scope of the conference will be rejected without review.
- The double-blind review process evaluates the novelty, significance, scientific rigor, clarity, and quality of the submitted paper.
- Submitted papers must not have been published as copyrighted material nor be submitted for consideration for publication as copyrighted material in print or electronic form.
- If selected for oral presentation at least one of the authors must register for the conference to present their paper during the conference.
- Manuscripts of outstanding papers among the selected papers will be forwarded to the Journal of Engineering Education Transformations (JEET) for publication in the Special Issue. (Scopus indexed Journal http://www.journaleet.in/).
- The remaining selected papers will be published in the ICTIEE 2023 Conference Proceedings.
- The papers submitted via email will be rejected without review.
Guidelines to Preserve Anonymity for “Double-Blind” Submissions:
- Remove the names and affiliations of authors from the title page of the PDF file that you submit for review. This information must be included in the final camera-ready copy if your paper gets accepted. While submitting your paper for review, you need to include all the author details only at the registration page. The PDF file of the paper should not have the author's information.
- Remove acknowledgments of identifying names and funding sources from the PDF file that you will submit for review. This information must be included in the final camera-ready copy if your paper gets accepted.
- Remove project titles or names that can be used to trace back to the authors via a web search engine.
- Name your files carefully. The source file names (e.g., “Rajesh.pdf”) are often embedded in the final output as accessible comments.
- Use care in referring to your previous works as related works. Do not omit references to provide anonymity, as this leaves the reviewer unable to grasp the context. Instead, you can reference your past work in the third person format, just like any other piece of related work by another author. For example, instead of “Recently, we have proposed a new protocol [9] …,” sentences in the spirit of “Recently, the authors in [9] have proposed a new protocol …” may be used.
- Papers with the same title and abstract should not be posted on a public website, such as arxiv.org, or shared via public mailing lists, or communicated to other conferences/journals/publications.
