The seventeenth Urban Mobility India Research Symposium (UMI-RS) with focus on “Urban
Accessibility and Livability in Digital Age” will be held as part of the 19^th Urban Mobility India
Conference cum Exhibition 2026. The event would be held under the aegis of the Ministry of
Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and the Research Symposium will be coordinated by
the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). The symposium is a platform to highlight the
current research activities in urban transport carried out by academic and research institutes, especially
by young Indian researchers.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their full-length manuscripts by 31^st July 2026. All submissions must be
completed via the EasyChair Portal. The prescribed manuscript template is available for download here.
Intimation of the tentative acceptance or rejection of the submitted papers, along with the review
comments, will be communicated via email by 10^th September 2026. Thereafter, the authors will be required to submit the revised papers addressing the review comments by 20^th September 2026.

Intimation of the final decision (acceptance or rejection) of the full-length papers for the UMI-RS Conference will be communicated via email by 30^th September 2026.

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome.
