The 16th Workshop on Altaic Formal Linguistics will be held from September 30 to October 2, 2022, hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the University of Rochester. The event will be entirely virtual.
Submission Guidelines
We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks (followed by 10-minute discussions) on topics dealing with formal aspects of any area of theoretical Altaic linguistics, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, or pragmatics. The term ‘Altaic’ is understood to include Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic languages, as well as Korean, Japanese, Ryukyuan, and Ainu.
Abstract guidelines
• abstracts must be anonymous
• at most 2 pages in length, including examples, tables, figures, and references
• 12pt font and 1 inch margins (US letter) or 2.5 cm margins (A4) on all four sides
• maximum of two abstracts per person, one of which must be co-authored
