Objective: to analyze the perception that the elderly have about sexuality in the third age. Method: This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach; developed with 22 elderly participants of the Service of Support to the Best Age (AMI) of the municipality of Floriano-PI. Results: The discourses were categorized and distributed according to the perception of the elderly on the subject. Conclusion: It was understood that sexuality can be synonymous with health in a multidimensional environment, where each individual in his subjectivity builds his own way of experiencing his sexuality.
