Abstract

Due to advances in medicine and technology as a whole, progress has been made in disease prevention, treatment and counterattack of infectious organisms.

This project applies the knowledge acquired throughout the career specifically in a topic of great importance which is the diabetic foot, a disease derived from another as "diabetes", as it is currently a disease that is present in a large amount of the population, every day diabetes is a matter of concern and more in Mexico as it ranks ninth in the world according to Adolfo Andrade Cetto academic science of the UNAM [1].

In diabetic foot is an even worse problem because of the high rate of amputations due to infections, sores or ulcers that cause in the patient.

The project is based on an electronic prototype for the healing of diabetic foot through the use of honey, since it is known that honey is used for the treatment of wound regeneration, through the control of variables, specifically in the management of temperature and humidity.

These variables can accelerate the healing of diabetic foot as they help to preserve the healing characteristics of honey, the project consists of a capsule where the foot is protected and honey is placed on the affected part, a controller is responsible for receiving information through an analog sensor, as it captures the temperature in the environment inside the capsule and does not let the ambient temperature affect the closed system, The fan is activated when the temperature exceeds 30 °C in order to keep it away from infections in the foot and not let the honey melt or lose its healing properties, it should be noted that it is a prototype where the temperature rises to these levels, and through the control of temperature and humidity is maintained at the ideal temperature.
