Natural fine aggregates of 10mm size were partially replaced by RPA in varying proportions. Impact resistant offered by GPC was obtained by performing drop hammer test conforming to suggestions by ACI 544.2R-89. The test results revealed excellent improvement of impact resistance and energy absorption at 10% replacement of natural aggregates by RPA. The experimental evaluation of GPC modified by RPA, demonstrated potential for novel usage of waste plastic with GPC towards the development of sustainable construction material.Keyphrases: geopolymer concrete, impact resistance, recycled plastic waste In: C.
