Social networks have become a space in which to share, exchange and disseminate knowledge among members of the educational community, despite the fact that this was not the function for which they were created. It is therefore important for teachers to know how to take advantage of and create a communication space using social networks as a tool. The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the training that Early Childhood Education Teacher Training students receive on social networks and new technologies 2) To find out how the teaching of new technologies and social networks is approached in the Public Universities of Andalusia and 3) To analyze whether the training that Early Childhood Education students receive is sufficient for the correct development of their professional work. As a methodology, a content analysis was carried out, which allowed us to convert qualitative data into quantitative data. The categories analyzed were: "Social networks", "Online resources" and "New technologies". The study plans of the Public Universities of Andalusia (Spain) for the academic year 2022/2023 were taken into account. The results of the analysis of these curricula showed that despite the importance of the use of social networks and new technologies in the educational context, the curricula barely addressed the subject. This suggests that the training received by future teachers was not sufficient to enable them to make the most of the resources that both new technologies and social networks offer. Keyphrases: Docentes en formación, Educación Infantil, análisis de contenido, redes sociales
