LingvoDoc: Working with Cognate Analysis

Abstract

This article offers an overview of one of the main LingvоDoc programs – the Cognate analysis option intended for modern etymological and dialect distance research. It describes in detail how this option works and how to implement it. The advantages of the Cognate Analysis algorithm are also highlighted.
