Abstract

This paper provides an in-depth exploration of the diverse applications of Artificial Intelligence
(AI) in the field of cybersecurity. As cyber threats become more sophisticated, the integration
of AI technologies has become crucial in fortifying defense mechanisms. The paper examines
how AI is utilized in various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat detection, anomaly
identification, and response automation. By leveraging machine learning, natural language
processing, and behavioural analytics, AI contributes significantly to strengthening the overall
security posture. The paper also discusses challenges and future directions in the evolving
landscape of AI-driven cybersecurity. Through a systematic review of literature and case
studies, this work aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the efficacy and
challenges associated with AI in the context of cybersecurity
