These 3D printers use FDM technology. Most 3D printers use ABS and PLA. This study makes 3D things using polylactic acid (PLA) and slate powder (SP). Mechanical qualities of printed items must be known for specific applications. This study examines the tensile strength of poly lactic acid (PLA) printed materials based on raster angle, nozzle temperature, and printing speed. Results indicate that printing settings affect printed part mechanical characteristics. Response-process parameter empirical models are created. ANOVA tested response-printing parameter models. Printing settings are optimized for mechanical properties. Keyphrases: Fused deposition mechanism, PLA, Slate powder, tensile strength
