Introducing QAL: the Quantum Algorithms Lab (extended version)

EasyChair Preprint 16020

Abstract

This paper introduces QAL, the Quantum Algorithms Lab. QAL is a novel and innovative visual interactive tool (currently in the form of a web app, as a virtual playground) for experimenting with quantum algorithms and their underlying math, such as linear algebra, group theory, and graph theory. In addition to quantum computing, the mathematics presented intuitively in QAL has applications in fields such as machine learning and other mathematical sciences. (A lightweight edition of QAL is available online at https://q-info.github.io/QAL-Lite.)
