It is having a tremendous implementation in both electronic and electrical components, but it normally refers to both digital and analog communication technologies and the devices. Each individual signal carries some important information in a form that may be confidential. The information is embedded into the signal using analog modulation techniques or digital modulation techniques, depending on the source device and/or medium device and destination device. Many technologies have been developed in recent years for storing and sharing valuable information regarding a signal. This paper pertains to security challenges with potential defenses in the signal transmission for more honorable and reliable in-state-of-the-art communication technology. Keyphrases: Hardware Trojan, Obfuscation, Side-channel fingerprinting, locking, signal, trigger
